Chuhang Zou

Biography

I am a Research Scientist at Meta Reality Labs focusing on 3D Generative AI. Previously, I was a Senior Research Scientist with the Amazon GenAI (Evaluation Media) team, where I led the 3D Foundation Model group in enhancing consumer experiences through generative modeling. Prior to that, I was with Amazon Go Research in AWS, leading initiatives in 3D human/object modeling and video action recognition.

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Derek Hoiem and collaborating closely with Prof. David Forsyth. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from Zhejiang University under the advisement of Prof. Deng Cai.

• 3D Generative AI: Video generation, 3D foundation models, and mixed-view geometry.
• Embodied AI: World models, 3D scene understanding, and agent-environment interaction.
• Human-Centric Vision: 3D human modeling and video action recognition.
